Canadian Red Cross Program

This course further develops the candidate’s instructional ability by focusing on how to apply the information learned in the AWSI course to effectively plan and teach the Red Cross Swim program. Candidates will apply their teaching skills and knowledge during 12 hours of practical teaching experience.

As a whistle is required for use and evaluated in all programs it has been included in the course cost and will be issued to each candidate on the first class along with all of their required texts.

Prerequisite(s):	16 years of age AND Red Cross Assistant Water Safety Instructor
Required Materials:	Red Cross Assistant Water Safety Instructor Manual (If a candidate does not have this manual, it can be purchased from Zodiac at time of registration)
